| Launching Wise Disk Cleaner |
To start Wise Disk Cleaner, double-click its icon on your desktop or single-click its icon in your Quick Launch bar. PS: these icons will not appear if they were not selected during installation.
If these icons are not available, you can open Registry Mechanic from the Start menu by clicking Start -> All Programs / Programs -> Wise Disk Cleaner (folder) -> Wise Disk Cleaner.
When Wise Disk Cleaner is launched, the Main interface is displayed.

The buttons on the tools bar the following actions:
Scan: to start a scanning.
Wizard: Start by wizard.
Disk Defrag: Launch Disk Defrag tool
Deleted files recover: Launch deleted files recover tool.
Disk Scrubber: Launch the disk scrubber to scrub your hard drive.
All: Check all flies.
None: Cancel all checks.
Invert: Invert checks all files.
Delete: Delete junk files. Click here learn more about delete method.
Restore: This button allow you restore files from a backup file.
Exit: Exit the application.
Run Modes:
Wise Disk Cleaner provide three operating modes for you.
1. Manual Mode
2. Automatic Mode
To start a scan in Automatic Mode you should follow these steps :
Select the categories in which you want Wise Disk Cleaner to search for junk files.
Click "Options" to show the options dialog.
Go to the "Auto Run" tab and choose "Automatic" then click on the 'Ok' button to save the changes.
Exit Wise Disk Cleaner.
When you run Wise Disk Cleaner the next time, Wise Disk Cleaner will automatically scan and remove all junk files found.

Command line Mode:
You
can run the program from the command line:
format:
<install folder>\WiseDiskCleaner.exe -<run
mode> -[Delete mode] -[Scan Drive or folder]
Run mode:
a - Scan
and automatically remove all junk files found.
You must provide the parameters.
Delete mode:
r - Delete to recycle bin.
p - Permanently Delete.
If this parameter is empty, Wise Disk Cleaner will delete files to recycle bin.
Scan Drive:
Scan drive or folder. If this parameter is empty, Wise Disk Cleaner will scan
your entire hard disk.
